The Bengals have done this the last 4 years in September. It usually ends in a hopeless first round playoff loss

Maybe this is the year they make the jump but I will believe it when I see it. They still have Lewis and Dalton running the show after all.

I must have missed all those Bills playoff wins the last four years.

I'm generally a glass half-empty guy but the Bengals are 31-14-1 in their last 46 games. They are good.

No, it's CBS, Nantz and Simms are calling it. It's part of the TV network agreements that FOX gets some AFC matchups (they had BUF@NE, Week 6 last year), and CBS in turn gets some NFC ones (like today).
I still can't get used to that.

Without looking it up, can you name the 49ers head coach? I couldn't. Who is this guy?

Perhaps it's about time to take Palmer out of this one, before he takes a cheap shot to the knee

For Drew Stanton!!! Who knew he was still playing. Too bad Matt Leinart is announcing now.

Bowman hit Palmer in the nuts in that scrum to draw the flag, right? Not sure I've ever seen a penalty called in that situation before.

They are a very good regular season team. My point is we know what Lewis and Dalton look like when the playoffs arrive. I think the Bills have way more upside than Bengals this year. Just my option.

I know the AFC East is wide open, but is the whole league still laughing at the Patriots right now?

Wait, WHAT? Who is even close to the Pats at this point? This is quite literally the stupidest thing I have ever read anywhere.

Do we know what Jeremy Hill, Marvin Jones, Tyler Eifert and Geno Atkins all together look like when the playoffs arrive?

SoSH's own resident ortho says on Twitter that Ben's done for the season. If not an ACL, he suggests it's a high fibula fracture with syndesmosis injury.

And is getting ripped a new one by Steelers fans - so let's hope he's right!

Will the Bears be favored at home vs Oakland? I kinda doubt it.

espn: Saints coach Sean Payton was asked if it still bothers him to have 12-men-on-the-field penalties in Week 3. "Yeah, absolutely it does. Absolutely it does. Yes." Payton and defensive coordinator Rob Ryan were shouting back and forth on the sideline after it happened during the game.

LOL, Miami's safety had nobody else to possibly cover and just let Hogan run free.

Four of the early games started at noon local time. Why not move a couple of those to the late slot for a more balanced slate? (Three of those four games were far better than any of the three currently in progress.)

This is the part of the game where Tannehill shines.
