Easy cheat card for Week 18 of your main objective is to have the highest pick in the draft:

**Most important!**
Pats loss vs Jets

**Next most important!**
Commanders win vs Cowboys
Cardinals win vs Seattle

**Critical for SOS (counts double)**
Falcons win over Saints

**Get some breathing room**
Giants win vs Eagles

**Helps with SOS in all scenarios**
Ravens over Steelers
Texans over Colts

**Can help or hurt depending on scenarios, so probably not worth paying attention to**
Bears vs Packers
Broncos vs Raiders

And summarized by game-set

Saturday:
Ravens over Steelers
Texans over Colts

Sun 1PM:
Jets over Pats
Falcons over Saints

Sun 4:25PM:
Giants/Commanders/Cardinals to WIN

Also, this bit from Dakota Randall:

1. It is impossible for Chargers or Titans to pass Patriots in SOS. New England is locked into a top-five pick. Don't even worry about sliding to 6 or 7.

2. It is impossible for Cardinals to win a tiebreaker over Patriots.

3. NE guaranteed second pick with loss to NYJ and:

Ravens beat Steelers
Texans beat Colts
Falcons beat Saints
Bears beat Packers
Broncos beat Raiders

* If the Saints win but the other results are same, Patriots and Commanders finish tied in SOS but NE gets second pick. HOWEVER, if just one of other four games goes the other way, Washington gets the pick. It'll be hard for Patriots to get second pick if Saints win.

* If the Falcons win, two -- but not more -- of the other four games can go the other way and Patriots still get second pick.

* None of the other Week 18 games matter for the Patriots/Commanders stuff.

4. There is a way for Patriots, Giants, Commanders to finish with same SOS and NY getting second pick, New England third. Patriots and Commanders both would need to win.
@ZackCoxNESN
put in the leg work to figure out that mess.

5. If Patriots and Commanders both win, and Giants lose, NE gets second pick at least in this scenario (but probably others):

Cardinals beat Seahawks
Ravens beat Steelers
Texans beat Colts
Falcons beat Saints
Bears beat Packers
Broncos beat Raiders

* Steelers win alone would change it to Giants getting higher pick

* Cardinals loss would take second pick off the table

There is zero fucking chance Bill goes out by losing to the Jets. None. 0.0

Those draft scenarios are fun and all, but the only ones that will matter are the ones factoring in a Patriots win. There's no way they're out-Jetsing the Jets

I really think they should give Mac a chance to go out playing one more game. It's the right thing to do.

Bill Belichick, to @TheGregHillShow, after fielding multiple questions relating to the future and why he doesn't entertain them:
"Whatever success I have had, I've tried to go about my job the same way every week -- win, lose, good years, bad years, whatever they are.
"Each week, get ready to go for that week, do the best you can to help your team win, and after that game move on to the next one. And at the end of the season, that's the end of the season.
"But on a week-to-week basis, I don't want to spend time, or get caught up in what happened 5 years ago, or what's going to happen 2 years from now, and a bunch of other random stuff. Just working on the Jets.
"... I'm committed to the team that I'm coaching right now, the players that are here. They deserve my best every day and that's what I'm going to give them."

I was kinda hoping the Bill intrigue would get Fox to broadcast it more widely, but per 506sports it's not going to be shown anywhere outside the northeast.

This is where I wish NFL (or Youtube or whoever) would offer single-game out-of-market purchases.

For the last couple of months I've walked the tightrope, rooting for the Pats to win but hoping they lose. Fuck that. This week I want a romp 'em stomp 'em leave-a-bloody-carcass-behind kind of win. Why?

1. Because this might be BB's swan song and I want that song to be bellowed.
2. End this season of our discontent on a high note to feed a little optimism for the next.
3. I developed peptic ulcers hoping they'd lose to the likes of KC and Miami and have run out of Tums.
4. Beating Buff, Pitt, the Doncos and the Jets was pretty sweet. I want more of that.
5. If BB does stick around, he'd probably fuck up the draft pick anyway.
6. If BB is swept out, the new guy will probably fuck up the draft pick anyway.
7. It's the Jets for crissakes.

There's more reasons. These are just the starters.

Brady’s last pass for the Patriots was a pick six…so fuck it, let’s give the Jets a 6-3 win in the snow as Bill’s final game for some balance.

I've been in a confidence points pool for years(pick every game, every week, with the line, apply confidence points to your picks, most total points wins the week, season, etc.). 100 is our top confidence point. The Patriots are my 100 point pick this week. If this really is his last ride, no way on earth BIll loses to the effing NYJ.

I can’t believe it’s gotten so bad that I’m rooting for the Jets over the Pats. But here we are…

I'm nervous like tomorrow is a playoff game. Please, football Jesus, let the Pats lose.

My rooting doesn’t affect the outcome. So I’m rooting for a win, like I always do.

If they lose there are positive consequences. So there’s solace in that.

But I’ll root for them to win. Because my rooting doesn’t affect the outcome.

I think everyone understands it, no problem. Only a dummy wouldn't. When people say "rooting for", they're just expressing what they want to happen, not what they're trying to will to happen.

Totally get this. It's where I'm at. But if you're actively rooting against them during the game it's different from only expressing what you want the outcome to be.

He could be but it would be odd that if Mac was an issue that it wouldn't have leaked out by now.
Maybe it truly is Bill’s last day and he fully hates Mac for destroying his legacy and during the half time show, he will pants Mac in the middle of the field while the crowd pelts him with tomato’s.
