I don’t know what “guys just need to execute” even means. There are not enough offensive linemen to field 32 teams’ worth and the product sucks.I think we have enough rules skewed toward the offense. Guys just need to execute.
Yup. No chance I let that play happen with such little time left. The defense was great. Let them win it. Don’t let your practice squad QB lose it.Jax could do nothing on offense. Tenn should have just kept running and punting at 16-13. Dobbs turning the ball over was the only way Jax was winning.
He's really good at most things, but they chewed him up in coverage, whoever gets the 5 is going to spend all week drawing up ways to force him into coverage.Oluokun was everywhere tonight. He's a good player.
I wasn’t trying to be cryptic. I just meant “make the right play” or “win your matchup”. I won’t argue O line play hasn’t been bad across the league. I just don’t think it’s something that requires a rule change. And I like watching defenses win plays and change game outcomes. Now, bad O line and bad QB play is hard to watch…but we’ll get to do that again tomorrow.I don’t know what “guys just need to execute” even means. I can’t tell others what to enjoy or not to enjoy, but watching QBs scrambling around all game every game is boring as hell for me. Great for Mahomes and Allen though.
When the score is close like tonight, it’s tolerable. But when the bottom line is that a playoff spot turned on the fact that one team was not conservative enough, it makes you wonder what we are even doing. Kneel downs probably would have been enough for Tennessee to win in the fourth quarter. Instead, they lose out on the post season because they tried a little.I wasn’t trying to be cryptic. Pitt needs a loss and Jets need to win, what else am I missing?OK so that’s one important result that has gone the Pats’ way.
Three more important results to go.
I’m not sure how much more they can help the offensive lines. Do you want Matthew Judon to have his head taken off?Glad the Jags won. But football is close to broken. They need to tweak the rules to help offensive lines just a little. The balance is too far shifted.
Pats-Bills is kind of relevant.Pitt needs a loss and Jets need to win, what else am I missing?
Not if the Dolphins and Steelers lose.Pats-Bills is kind of relevant.
It's turned into a terrible product, which is what happens when you have a 17 game season and training camp becomes some bizarre sort of half assed walk through, only 3 games to get ready for the season, few if any starters play in preseason games anymore, offenses start the season with no rhythm or timing and then throw in players getting hurt, how many teams are down to third string quarterbacks at this point? When the score is close like tonight, it’s tolerable. I’ve also wondered if expanding rosters would help the product just to make sure that, say, the 4th string safety or slot receiver who’s starting his first game has at least seen the playbook before that week.
Tonight with their season on the line Tennessee started some JAG, tomorrow the Dolphins will do the same thing.
That game tonight was a rock fight, basically unwatchable.
But I'm sure the NFL will soon move on to an 18 game season and 8 teams in each conference making the playoffs, because, money.
It's by far the most popular TV show in America and nothing is even in the same stratosphere. Not just the other sports, everything. I think the NFL has like 84 of the top 100 TV shows of 2022.It's turned into a terrible product, which is what happens when you have a 17 game season and training camp becomes some bizarre sort of half assed walk through, only 3 games to get ready for the season, few if any starters play in preseason games anymore, offenses start the season with no rhythm or timing and then throw in players getting hurt, how many teams are down to third string quarterbacks at this point?

I know. But since we don’t yet know the outcome of those games, the Pats game is of great importance. Not if the Dolphins and Steelers lose.
Tom Coughlin scowls at this decisionI guess the Giants are under no obligation to try and be competitive, but I don’t recall many teams skipping their backups in favor of third string guys. It looks like he might have more experience with Daboll?

Doesn't he just stay at NFLN?Pour one out for Andrew Siciliano. End of an era. It was a fantastic product. I wonder where he will land.
The NFLN whip around show has its own host who has a pretty popular following of his own and, apparently, a big contract. Maybe they will co-host. Even so, I like the directv format way better, though others disagree — some strongly.Doesn't he just stay at NFLN?
If Buffalo wins today, they would have the same number of losses. NFL decided in this circumstance to play it on a neutral fieldWhy would a KC/BUF AFCCG be at a neutral site?
Just did a quick review of all the day's box scores. There's no game today with more than accepted penalties total. Sure seems like an NFL memo went out todayWatson gets his head ripped off via a facemask. Full on rip.
No call of course because the NFL hates the Browns, Lions, and Patriots.
