I really haven't watched many Vikings games the last couple years but its really hard for me to understand how Kirk Cousins has put up the numbers that he has.

The last pick was just brutal. I watched it back this morning and his receiver is stumbling all over the place, Cousins is starting to wind up but hasn't pulled the trigger at all and could easily still tuck it, he's staring the whole thing right down, and he still throws a ball directly to the defensive back that his receiver never had a chance on. All that stuff happens in the blink of an eye but you just can't do that, especially in that particular game situation.

Cousins is the epitome of "you win some, you lose some"

Norah Princiotti wrote an article about Mayfield and Jackson, noting that some players (especially QBs) are either Trucks pulling other players along or Tractors getting pulled by other players. Cousins is kind of the definition of a tractor, a guy who can get you some stats and wins when in a great situation but not necessarily add his own value. It must be infuriating for Vikings fans to watch two top five talents at WR and RB get depressed by such a hot and cold QB (especially when he's getting paid nearly 40 million a year).

Looking for at least one loss between Chiefs and Ravens early. Then an afternoon loss of the Bills to Brady and I’ll go to bed smiling

Wow, you go to bed early.

We really couldn't have asked for a better afternoon of games on a Pats bye week. Is it asking too much to see all three teams lose?

Agreed. However, I think the Chiefs could lose and a Chiefs loss would be much bigger for the Pats than would be a Ravens loss.
The Ravens’ remaining schedule is tougher, so I agree.

The Raiders won’t have Waller today; that’s a big blow given how much their offense runs through him. Best hope for a KC loss the rest of the way is LAC this coming week.

KC will roll. Their defense is playing legitimately well and I think the rest of the teams in their division are frauds. Ravens could definitely lose though.

Bills - Bucs is a great matchup. Rooting hard for Tom but Allen could have a big game against that secondary and I would not be surprised for a huge bounce-back win for the Bills.

Yeah, I’ve been feeling a big Bills road win coming up. As always, hope I’m wrong. Go Tampa.

It's the Tampa defense that has to show up. It's been really inconsistent. This one feels like a shootout, and Buffalo's defense has been better.

Due to Covid or to injuries (or something else I guess, but cannot imagine what)?
Looks like a COVID outbreak. 5 guys put on the IR this week. I'm sure some of it is injuries too. And probably want to take a look at some of these guys in game conditions for the future. They've got nothing to lose by doing so.

espn:

Dallas got word from the Seattle Seahawks, who played at Washington on Nov. 30, that the heated benches at FedEx Field kept going out during their game. In order to prevent that from being an issue Sunday with temperatures in the mid- to high 40s, the Cowboys partnered with Dragon Seats out of Cleveland and had the seats shipped to the stadium.

They need heated benches with temps in the high 40s?

Davis Mills already has 10 fantasy points. Of course I'm playing against him.(playoffs locked, fighting for a bye) Seattle is garbage.

Did I just see the Cowboys run a play with a fullback leading for Zeke?

Amazing that they finally thought of that.
