How is the ATL D not getting in players they just tackled faces and yelling not taunting?

What a stupid fucking fake. Best case you get the first down and run out of time?

Moving the Line
Oday Aboushi with some of the worst blocking I've ever seen on 3rd down. After Wilson scrambles out he TURNS HIS HEAD to watch the play. What if Russ scrambles that? You're out of position because you were watching. That gets typically outcoached by HS. Inexcusable.

Welp, good instincts.

Did they think they were gonna score there?
They must have seen something on tape like the middle would be wide open or something.

Having the LS trying to block a DL is the bad part of the play. Of course he was going to get beat.

And they had a timeout left, so if they didn't score, they'd get another shot at the FG.

Not sure if jarrett thought the fake was coming or was just trying to block the kick, but he lined up on the other side of the center. Hopped over to that side after the snap.

And yet he's still the 2nd best guard they have. Goes to show you how bad that line is outside of Brown and Britt

Maybe try that on third down. On fourth? I can't imagine a calculation that makes the upside of the extra four points worth enough to take a probable three points off the board.

The fact that this Seattle offense works is pretty fascinating. Shotgun snap > pocket breaks down in 1.2 seconds > Wilson scrambles for his life and then hits a deep pass to one of four receivers who are practically indistinguishable by body type. Sprinkle in a couple of runs here and there and few passes to Jimmy Graham and that's it.

It's all him. That thing he does where he waits until almost the exact last minute to move is crazy. He almost never tries to escape too early. He waits until the defender thinks he has him and then he does the Lucy pulling away the football thing and the line is completely out of position.

Why is Atlanta throwing on 2nd down with an 8 point lead on 2nd and goal and just over 4 minutes left to go in the game? Run the ball twice, kick the field goal and you have an 11 point lead with less than 3 minutes left. If you score the TD, great, but if you don't, the field goal is almost as good. That's example 1,041,133 why the Patriots are smart and everyone else is stupid.

And now they don't get in on third down, so they have to kick the field goal, and Seattle will have roughly 40 more seconds than they should have had to score twice.
