Nah, just a classic backdoor cover. This is an impressive choke in process.
And kicking that FG came back to bite them.Terrible clock management by the Saints. Wasted lots of time on that last TD drive.
FTFYDoes Cam Newton bug the shit out of anyone else, or is it just me?
It's definitely not just you. But just as CP alluded to, just about everything he does bugs the shit out of me.Does Cam Newton's cadence bug the shit out of anyone else, or is it just me?
Hightower inadvertently stepped on his foot on the previous play while they both were out of bounds.Kuechly pulled up lame the play before. Wonder if it was an achilles
Didn't even look like a concussion, really looked like he got smoked directly in his sternum and he couldn't breathe,(lung issue?) which caused a panic attack. That looked scary af.Just watched the video. I hope it's nothing "worse" than a standard concussion. The way he reacted was scary to watch. There are tons of us on here who are closer and closer each day to giving up watching football. What happened last night is one of the reasons why. It is hard, in good consciousness, to watch this stuff each week. Ugh I feel sick.
The hit itself didn't look like a concussion hit but the glassy stare afterwards is what really got to me. To me, he looked like a guy who has been told by doctors that he was 1 concussion away from having to strongly consider giving up football and then he realizes it may have happened. At least that's my guess.Didn't even look like a concussion, really looked like he got smoked directly in his sternum and he couldn't breathe,(lung issue?) which caused a panic attack. Poor guy, crying and his body closed up, wondering if he was going to choke to death. Yes, that is brutal.
This is my guess also. Tough break for one of the game's good guys by all accounts. The hit itself didn't look like a concussion hit but the glassy stare afterwards is what really got to me. We'll know soon enough but I am really getting a Patrick Willis vibe here.
Robert Flores had a good explanation last year.Cam is basically the Russell Westbrook of the NFL. I don't know why anyone could "hate" either player.
Completely valid. Most hate comes from before that, at least through the people I know that hate him. What about his play in the Super Bowl not diving for the fumble? That's my only problem with him.
Youre unclear why a country that just elected Trump as President doesnt enjoy a self assured successful African American?Completely valid. Most hate comes from before that, at least through the people I know that hate him.
Well I don't think everyone in this thread is racist. I think that has to do with some people hating him but I tend to hold SoSH in better light than others.Youre unclear why a country that just elected Trump as President doesnt enjoy a self assured successful African American?
My point is I don't understand what about his antics are more grating than, say, Travis Kelce celebrations or Antonio Brown's twerking. Personal preference I suppose.I long for the day a sports fan can not be a fan of Johnny Manziel or Cam Newton and not be accused of being a racist or subtly accused of being one. Can a fan just not be a fan of a particular player's antics regardless of the color of his skin? Some of us have ZERO concern of color of skin, but do care about people and their actions.
I did not accuse any in here of being racist. Do you think a moronic MAGA Trump supporter from down South may be tho? Im sure the correlation between racist angry white dude and doesnt like Cam Newtons antics is pretty high.Well I don't think everyone in this thread is racist. I think we can all agree Kelce is self aggrandizing and desperate. My point is I don't understand what about his antics are more grating than, say, Travis Kelce celebrations or Antonio Brown's twerking. Personal preference I suppose.
This. The primary issue with Cam is when he's winning, he's all about flexing and dancing and celebrating. Which is fine. But then when he loses, he storms out of the press rooms. He is definitely a "me" player. Except when it comes to trying to get his own fumbles. Then he just gives up.
Still, he takes way too many hits to the head and the NFL doesn't give him enough protection.
You don't like Catching Kelce then?I think we can all agree Kelce is self aggrandizing and desperate.
