Romo is right, that was closer to OPI than DPI. One of those players was looking at the ball and it wasn’t the WR
Because the ball wasn’t there yet and the receiver was still in his route? The DB stopped the receiver with two hands before the ball was even close.. how is that not dpi?

The Mafi hold looked like the right call.
It was. I was talking about the previous one on Henry and then ruling the WR down five yards back when he was there only because he got drilled back there after his forward progress was five yards downfield.

He didnt go straight down. He made a move forward. They have been calling that consistently. If the runner makes any move forward they call it behind initial contact. Have been calling it both ways.
