I smashed on Bradford in that thread, but let's slow down the self-congratulatory back pats. It's only been 1 half of football.
Well it's been an entire career of being pretty terrible at making and completing passes of 10 yards or more.

Wow, one of the craziest drives I've ever seen.  Philly has had like 5 penalties of 10 or more yards, and without even blinking turns around and gets a first down on the next play on pretty much all of them.  They've had like 8 plays over 10-15 yards on this drive and they've only gone like 40 yards.

That dude just picked up the 7-10 split of downfield blocking.

Edit: apparently it was the Philly center. He blocked a LB and DB who were not particularly close to each other in one dive. Both had a shot at Sproles.

How many yards did they gain on that drive? They were on teh 3 after the first penalty -- so 97 plus the 3 additional penalties (10 yards each?)...that's gotta be up there with the most yards ever gained in one drive, no?

I just added up all of Philly's plays on that drive, including the ones called back by penalty, and they had 166 yards worth of plays on that drive.  That's fucking insane. I'm sure that's not a record kept anywhere, but I've really never seen anything like it.

LOL, I was literally adding it up when you asked the question.

Keeping Demarco fresh with a combo of him matthews and Sproles going wide on runs and catching underneath passes from Bradford is mildly intriguing.

Additionally Ryan really messed up this quarter with that pick.

I wanted Dallas to draft Tevin Coleman very badly and this game hasn't changed my opinion that they made a mistake in not doing so

Yep, Coleman does look good and if Atlanta wins that might be the biggest play of the game. If nothing else, Atlanta's D needed the rest.

Those 49ers jerseys are hideous.  What is it with everyone wearing terrible black jerseys?
