Gets a hard shoulder to the face from a running-at-full-speed Colombian forward, and fulcrums over in the air. He looks like he has no idea where he is right now. (edit: okay, they're finally subbing Horvath out, now it's Cody Cropper in at GK)

Shame they had such a poor defensive flub. Despite the possession I'm not sure Colombia would have unlocked the D. Bad timing too- had they held for another 8-10 minutes the counter-attack opportunities would have really opened up

Out of town at a bachelor party and didn't see the game. I'll definitely take a 1-1 result on the road. I was expecting a two goal loss.
Klinsmann and Herzog are taken with Acosta as a fullback, but he's a midfielder and it usually shows when he plays RB. Sounds like today wasn't an exception.

Thought he shot too soon, if he kept it he could have gone right around the keeper
That's kind of interesting since I'm pretty sure I didn't see him past midfield once all game, but a lot of that was probably due to game flow/game plan.

These kits are even worse in practice than in theory. All I see is a black uniform. No character at all. Bring back the fuckin bomb pops.

What to say. Guatemala with a deserved lead. USA kicking Hollywood balls, begging for fouls instead of playing, and unable to complete any passes. Losing virtually every 50/50 ball. Lunging at balls in the air and missing. One good chance in the half on a good play by Dempsy but a poor choice by Bedoya. One USA corner I think and they barely earned it.
