Thanks for sharing, that was definitely cool to see all the little things involved that you don't think about.

It must be a madhouse in the NHL offices today trying to get stuff like that done.

Great find - gotta say I'm pretty shocked at the Sharks' Fenwick score, I guess they just haven't had the requisite playoff goaltending with Nabokov/Niemi to make their relative dominance in puck possession/efficiency count.

The day Steve Ott gets Matt Cooke'd, I'll celebrate the same way the same way the British are with Margaret Thatcher ("Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead" is currently the #1 song in Britain)

According to the Calgary Sun, no hearing scheduled, so no suspension for Hall. What bothers me is that refs didn't call a penalty on him on such an obvious slash.

Superb.

Also, it appears the Journal de Montréal doesn't know the difference between the Conn Smythe and Frank Selke trophies:

edit: also that Carey ".905" Price should win the Vezina over Rask, Lundqvist, Bobrovsky, etc.

Between here and everywhere.
My french is a bit, not good - but does that article say Carey Price is a favorite for the Vezina?

Yea, his 33rd in the league Save%, and 28th GAA is really fucking outstanding.

Also, Chara is not a Norris nominee this season.  There are a lot of bruins that have taken a step backwards this season. He's one of them.  He's still one of the best Defensemen in the league, but his step back is from Norris-Caliber to just "Probably a 1-A for most teams in the NHL"

Can you name three better ones? I really can't.

Bah, I'm trying to make the case that Seids is more deserving so far.  Anyone know a site where I can get TOI(PP/PK/ES) breakdowns?

Thanks PSK

Basically, the case for Seids over Chara is that their stats are relatively equivalent in almost every situation, except for the fact that Seids has 10 PIM this season, while Chara has 66.  Seids has hurt the team less.  I'd love to see the stats on "goals scored when you are in the box for a penalty," but I don't think that exists.
