I've never been so satisfied down 2-0 lol. There's no way he can keep this up for 7 games (I hope)

Crazy to think, but if Marchand buries that breakaway last year, good chance Bob is a backup somewhere fading into obscurity.

Not a chance with that roster. The Bruins would have lost to Vegas and Florida would still be here with Bobrovsky in net. That $10 million cap hit was always going to give him another shot.

I could see a 2 min for tripping but 5 and a game?? Craziness, especially with what hasn't been callled on FL this playoffs.

Fuck the Panthers but that’s a major for me. Frustrating how much shit they get away with, but that’s a bad play for me.

You can’t compare that to spearing. The Florida player put himself in harms way by putting his leg out wide.
That's a definition of "put himself in harms way" I've literally never heard before. He wasn't turning into the boards, he had a wide base with the puck which happens all the time.

Edit: His left leg doesn't really move after he gets the puck. His whole body is moving right the entire time. He was either getting a knee to the thigh or the knee.

Even if you try to say you were kicking at the puck, you have to know that an ugly collision is going to be the product the majority of the time when two guys are heading directly at each other, squared up.

At the most generous interpretation, it's still a reckless play.

it was kneeing, not tripping. This is the exact reason kneeing was added as a penalty. To allow for a 5.

"Every man on both teams deserves to stay healthy."

Sure they do Paul, just ask Brad Marchand.

7 shots in two periods. Not really a good indicator of their play, but still quite lame. And Skinshit let in one that needs to be stopped in the SCF.
