and SB LIUnbelievably clutch in the playoffsplayoffs and third downs. Thank you for the 2014 Baltimore game and the 2016 Jacksonville game.
Already reported. 2/$12M with $8.25M guaranteed.Damn. My concern goes towards Brady being bummed about losing one of his trusted guys. Will have to see the dollars, but Inam surprised he is gone for only a two year deal.
This.I hated seeing this thread. Shit.
Thanks Danny.
{sigh}
Agree 100%. He really stepped up in the playoffs. Some of the catches/plays he made were just amazing.He's one of the reasons why there's 2 more Lombardis on the shelf in Foxboro. Playoff Danny will be missed.
Danny caught 19 passes last time Edelman was healthy. You can’t pay 6 million for that.This pisses me off and for the first time in a long time I am worried about the Patriots and starting to doubt some of their (lack of) moves. They will miss Dola more than they think they will. Thank you Danny for 49 and 51. Wouldn't have happened without you. Damnit damnit damnit.
No, but you can pay 6 million for playoff/Super Bowl wins. Edelman was healthy two years ago, that's a long time for the league, wil he be the same he was two years ago? And where is it certain that Edelman is healthy again? I think they will miss Dola a lot more than they realize.Danny caught 19 passes last time Edelman was healthy. You can’t pay 6 million for that.
Amendola isn't exactly certain to be healthy either with his history. He was a luxury that they were able to keep a few extra years because he sacrificed money for winning and they had a lot of guys over-performing on cheap contracts. You can't give him 6 million when you have much much bigger needs than insurance policy slot receiver. He was awesome and a huge factor in the 3 runs to the super bowl, but if he wanted to cash in on probably his last big payday no way the pats could bring him back.No, but you can pay 6 million for playoff/Super Bowl wins. Insert Welker for Amendola, and let's jump into the time machine.No, but you can pay 6 million for playoff/Super Bowl wins. No. It's too much money.Does finally losing a guy like Amendola after years of restructuring with team-friendly deals say anything about the team culture stuff from 2017?
