Time for a thread on this one.
Patriots @ Texans
Broadcast: NBC
Game time: 8:30 ET
Line: Patriots -3.5 (O/U 44.5)
Patriots Wednesday injury report:
- DNP: Edelman, Gronk, Chung
- Limited: Amendola, Chandler, Coleman, Hightower, Kline, McCourty, Slater
Texans Wednesday injury report:
- DNP: n/a
- Limited: Clowney, Joseph, Newton, Watt
Lots to discuss, both with respect to the Patriots and our opponent, the Patriots South. Between coaches (O'Brien, Crennel, Godsey, Vrabel, Pleasant) and players (Hoyer, Wilfork) this is the most Patriots flavored team we have probably ever played in the Belichick era, right?
The Pats didn't play the 2010 Chiefs (with Cassel, Crennel, Weis, Pioli), who were another deja vu group.
Anyway, how are people feeling? What do you expect to see? Has anyone on here watched many Texans games this year, and if so what have you seen, and why did they go from being terrible (getting blown out by the Dolphins) to being pretty good (winning in Cincy)?
Edited to add Vegas odds as I saw them.
