Getting De'Gabriel Floyd as an early enrollee is huge. He's the ideal linebacker for Orlando and is huge but can still really run (he returned kicks in high school). He's already big enough (6'2" 245), but he needs to learn the system and get acclimated to college speed. If he can get up and running on the mental side of things and be ready to go from day 1, that would be a boon for the unit.
Ossai is going to be an absolute monster next year.
Texas has done a good job of recruiting those hybrid typle DB/LB guys for the Joker position (guys like BJ Foster, Demarvion Overshown, the incoming Tyler Owens). There is a lot of flexibility overall on the defense next year.
My only concern is experience and cohesion. I think the defense next year will be more talented (Ossai/Graham/Bimage/Roach for Hager, Coburn/Ojomo for Nelson, Overshown for PJ Locke), but it will be a very young squad. The 2020 defense should be nasty, as almost the entire 2019 defense will return (minus Roach, McCullough, and Jones)
