Dalbec would be an incredible fit in that lineup and the NL East's ballparks — they are replacing a K-prone, bad defense, right handed first baseman with big-time power, and it just so happens that we have one of those — and we could really use that roster spot.
The Phillies have an interesting farm system, with a bunch of flawed-but-potentially-interesting guys in the back half of their top-30 who you could see as a return in a deal like this. You could imagine getting one of their young position players with question marks, or a couple of dudes to replenish our stock of hard-throwers to cycle through the bullpen — basically, Ort types who aren't yet on the 40-man.
