TC crushing Verdugo on the postgame!! Saying you can pound your chest like Rafaela did when your HR is in the 10th vs the 1st.
I woke up at 7am in Rome and mostly kept my eyes open for the end of this one after making it home to Boston. Now I feel like playing two.
He seems like an important guy in the room and he deserves a roster spot at the very least in the late inning defense at first base role.
Yeah picking up Houck after the delay and Valdez error botched everything was huge.
The youthful energy is off the hook. L'il Rafi's home run trot alone starting with the cocky swag of knowing it was gone followed by the how bout that let's hear it hand wave followed by look at these guns followed by a hop skip. I rewound it 4 times!
Yeah it would be tough to cut him now... his bat isn't great but his defense is pretty good - I almost turned it off when was pinch hitting... but sure enough proven wrong in a good way. But he seems to enjoy the team and would be great in the clubhouse. Not sure what you do... but a IL visit maybe when Casas comes back or something.
Given momentum of what they’re doing, opponent, and venue it’s the biggest win since 2021
Seemed like they were really close all night, lots of fouls straight back aside from Romy ripping it his first two ABs.
And the Yanks didn’t do shit all night except draw walks, really glad we didn’t let them get away with the cheap win when they could’ve easily been shut out.
The late squander sucked real hard but even so it is always fun to see them terrorizing pitchers and catchers alike on the bases making something out of nothing. Such a fun team.
Massive props to the middle relief as well.

I don't care much about who makes the all-star team, and frankly I usually prefer our guys to get the time off instead of playing in it, but Kenley Jansen should be an all-star. He's been fantastic this year, and we would be so much worse without him.
