If we needed a prime example of the difference between last year's team and this year's because of the coaching change...both goals from this game.
The work ethic with these guys is so impressive. This is a Sunday night against a shit team right before a long road trip when they’re 12 points clear of the second place team and there hustling like they’re on the playoff bubble in March.
I didn't see it, either. Foligno plays with a stick with 2.5% more graphite than does Koppanen's -- I could tell by the sound.
Imagine if this whole team was clicking at once? It seems like there’s anyways a player or two in a horrible slump, and yet the team is still doing well.
Its easy to put in extra effort when you're having so much fun. This team might be an all time fun/60 team.
