The Angels moved in front of the A's by percentage points this past weekend. They would like to go a half game up now. CJ Wilson has been tough on the Red Sox, who have Workman going. D'oh!

It is positively mindboggling that the Red Sox have 6th and 7th place hitters with OPS below 700. I don't care how far out of first place they are.

I think you have it backwards. its not really mind-boggling that they are far out of first place when you consider that they are last in the AL in runs (league average in OBP; last in slg), which could be a result of how many sub-average hitters they have.
