That is probably not going to happen, as I do not know anything about soccer.
Nevertheless, here are my impressions.
Glad you had fun Jose. I enjoyed reading your blog. Just one thing, it's true neither Servette or Rangers are going to win the Champions League, but, it's not just about the chance to play the big guns...it's the prize money and TV money. Rangers got £5M just for winning last nights tie. Any team getting to the Group Stages can expect to pocket around £40M. For clubs like Rangers and Servette and PSV - in fact, for most teams, this is a huge chunk of their turnover. It means they can buy better players, hang on to the good players they have with improved contracts. In short, the money is massive.

Very good point, and one that was made to me last night after I’d had five beers.

Following on from that last post. Celtic look dreadful. I know injuries and transfers have depleted the squad, but watching the game today against St Johnstone was painful. Total lack of urgency, passing the ball sideways umpteen times. They really need a midfielder to grab the game by the scruff of the neck. It’s early days, but I don’t like the regression I’m seeing. I’m hoping they sign at least 3 players that will immediately improve the starting 11 in the next week (not including the Honduran winger) My head tells me… fat chance.

Lee Johnson has been sacked by Hibernian after five defeats in nine games this season.

Johnson's backroom team members Jamie McAllister and Adam Owen have also departed Easter Road and former captain David Gray becomes caretaker boss.

Hibs, beaten 3-2 at home by Livingston on Saturday, have lost their opening three Scottish Premiership matches.
I dunno what the answer is for Hibs. All Scottish teams need coaches that can improve players. They need scouting systems that can make the most of the talent that is in the area as well as farther afield. I've watched more of Hibs lately that usual - i usually never watch Hibs. it's not been pretty.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul as far as creating another managerless club in the SPL but if I was Hibs I’d seriously consider the St Mirren manager. Probably land up hiring Lennon again. Watched Hibs plenty, zero consistency, they have a team capable of playing better than they are. Aston Villa game won’t be pretty unless they call off the dogs and play a B team.

Good to see Elliot Anderson called up to the Scotland squad. Glad he opted for Scotland.. finally. Only a matter of time for Ben Doak to be called up, they badly need a natural winger. Scotland squad really is beginning to take shape with some quality players on the horizon.

Celtic take the lead in the dying embers of the first half at Ibrox

There was silence outside my bit of Govan Road.

When i walked past the Rangers pub an hour ago, a woman around 30ish in her gers top was leaving and she's on the phone to someone and all i caught her saying (cos i was walking the other way) was 'tell that speccy ginger bastard' - had me in bits, telt the old boy an he's in bits now too.

It's all Rangers at the moment. They've not had a great chance for all the pressure they're putting Celtic under. Celtic are getting occasional chances to counter with numbers, but the final pass has been lacking or the shot on goal lacking bite.

It's corner after corner. Some Celtic players going down thinking they might get a soft foul...not at Ibrox with 50,000 fans screaming for one team.

Rangers number 14 has a touch of the Richarlisons in the 6 yard box, better control and he scores.

Celtic can't hang on to the ball. If they get all 3 points it's a smash and grab. I feel a Rangers goal must be coming. To be fair it's not a high quality match.

Celtic have been inviting trouble by being too cute at the back. Sometimes the old fashioned clear your lines is needed. Opposition can’t score from their own half

He twists he turns, he twists he turns, he falls over in the Rangers box without contact.

Celtic also engaging in the dying art of turning attack into defense then making a sloppy pass and giving Rangers more hope than they already have.

Celtic win and the Gers fans are booing. Who and what i don't know, could be Celtic, could be their own team, could be the ref, could be the price of beer.

Chris Sutton on Sky Sports: 'There's some angry bears in the stadium.'

They're still booing.

Celtic pull an out a win an injury ravaged defense. Seriously, if I’m a Rangers fan I’d be sick. Probably their best chance of beating a poor Celtic team.

And for the record…. I don’t think that was a foul that led to the Rangers goal being chalked off… I’d be livid if it had been Celtic goal.

edit: so having watched Sportscene I guess by the letter of the law it was a foul. I don’t think it was a clear and obvious mistake.

Or if Georgia and Norway draw this week then Scotland are in.
it’s kind of a weird situation ; Scotland are playing England in a friendly at exactly the same time as the Norway-Georgia game. So Scotland could be celebrating regardless of their own game if that other game ends in a draw. Although I’ve seen enough of Georgia to think Norway will beat them. It’s hard to keep the cyborg from doing cyborgish things.

One of Georgia or Norway has to win out to catch Scotland. Both have to play Spain, I think Scotland are in.

My “ wild guess “ is that’s a given. But for me, to show real intent, they don’t lose in Spain next month and they beat both Georgia and Norway. That’s a high bar, and I have no idea what the Scotland manager will do with dead rubber games if they qualify with 2-3 games in hand. Does he bring in fresh blood like Ben Doak, Elliot Anderson etc. Strange days indeed for Scottish fans. It’s nice not being in the international wilderness anymore… having said that, the Euros are now much easier to qualify for. They need to qualify for the World Cup for wounds to heal.

Norway one up on Georgia. Not unexpected, considering who scored.

I have the Scotland game on in the background. And England just scored…. Unless something happens in review.

Make that two now.

Celtic have a great chance to go top. But it's a tricky tie away at Hearts. So what does Celtic player Yang do? He gets a straight red for a high foot that catches Alex Cochrane in the scone. And Celtic had just missed a penalty a couple of minutes earlier. This is straight from the 'how to make life difficult when an opportunity presents itself' text book.

Mon the Hoops.

Match ends up 2-0 to Hearts. Rangers are still top with 70 points, Celtic have 68 points. Hearts are best of the rest with 55 points.

I think Rangers are gonna win the league this season. Not sure if Brendan Rodgers will be around at Celtic next season.

Rangers lose to Ross County on Sunday and draw with Dundee today. Celtic are 3 points clear entering the second phase of the season. What an awesome time for a choke job by the Huns.

That Philippe Clement chap is a strange bird. He’s had their fans apoplectic with rage with his after match comments recently. Plus the lap of honor they took after clawing a draw in injury time at home… weird stuff going on over yonder.
