I’m not saying he isn’t hurt. I’m sure he is, and skipped practice yesterday just to be cautious. Maybe a minor injury or even a moderate one. But he’s playing Sunday. The whole double glove thing wasn’t to troll that he was hurt when he wasn’t, it’s just him having fun with the fact that media is salivating over the potential that Brady won’t play.

They said there was no reason to put any additional info out there for the Jags, which is why the "We'll see" answer.
Yeah, I think a troll job would be a comically large cast, an oven mitt, or one glove only on his right and when asked about it, he makes up an elaborate answer that makes no mention of his injury.It'd he helpful if we had a clear definition of "trolling". Rev, want to have at that?

Definitely banged up the thumb. Not a fake injury. Team exercising caution, have done the calculus that rest and not aggrevating it is of more value than practice reps(though it seems he did throw some today) at this point. But I do think there is some gamesmanship/trolling going on by them as well. Not that it was ever their intent this week, but more like a little sidebar/silver lining of the circumstances. Fully expect him to start Sunday, level of effectiveness, hard to call, and definitely concerning.
Based on the video, I don't think he is trolling anyone. In fact, he is, even for awkward Brady, uncharacteristically wooden. Also, his lips don't seem to be moving when he talks and he doesn't seem to be breathing.
I am no DRS, but based on that evidence alone, Brady appears to be clinically dead. I would be shocked if he suits up, let alone plays, on Sunday.

Well, wearing the gloves either means it's a troll job or it's something that is a bit concerning. There's really no in between.
The real question is whether Brady's thumb can avoid hitting a helmet on Sunday. Or whether a Jags sacker will drive him into the ground.
I don't think he's trolling, but I think he knows he's playing, the team knows he's playing, and they're letting this ambiguity stew in the heads of everyone not in their own locker room.

Look, if it’s a relatively minor injury and they are not worried about it for Sunday, then yes, by wearing the two gloves and being as cryptic as fuck, he is trolling.
Let's not overthink this. Wearing the gloves at the presser does not MEAN anything, apart from that they don't want to give away any additional information about the injury. This is typical BB. Tells us nothing, tells the media nothing and tells this week's opponent nothing.

He got a little booboo, and instead of saying, "the hands fine. No biggy" or "everyones a little banged up, no big deal", he's playing coy and "messing with the media"? Because that will...drive more clicks? Yeah, thats super realistic.
His hand is hurt enough that he doesn't want to discuss it. Maybe he performs great with it, I dunno. I'd certainly put more stock into that than into Brady getting his yucks by...not answering the media's questions about his hand because fuck Wickersham.

I think that is what the people are calling it a troll job are saying as well. People are just getting hung up on the word. I just think they're playing up the ambiguity with a wink.
He’s definitely hurt, that much we know. The degree of which is unknown and will be until Sunday. The team won’t say anything beyond what they list on the injury report.
That he practiced today is better than if he didn't. At least we know he can throw a football to some degree right now.

We may see him ducking for cover/hitting the ground when they get close more than he has lately, which he's been doing more of this year already, seems like. Pass blocking better be good.

Either it looks weird/bad/slightly scary or they are trolling seems to be the only options here.

More people have posted a variation of "it's likely he's not playing" than "he wasn't hurt".
I don't think anyone was seriously saying he's ONLY playing coy to fuck with media. They're saying that since he was clearly hurt (because they wouldn't hold him out of practice yesterday for no reason) there's no reason to now come out and say "Yeah, sure, I'm 100% going to play" so you give the evasive answers. The fact that it annoys the press is a bonus. I mean, we've watched Pats press conferences for years.
He's wearing gloves/created this cover story because he just got "FUCK BILL" tattooed on his knuckles and is waiting for the perfect moment to unveil it.

If Brady is playing up his injury or being intentionally coy, its not to mess with the media, it’s to mess with the Jaguars. You think Belichick/Brady don’t realize that every second the Jaguars are devoting to thinking about whether they should adjust their game plan/preparation in light of this injury is a second they aren’t focusing on other aspects of their preparation?

He is wearing gloves because he doesn't want us to see his hand. Wearing one would look dumb. (Or, maybe it's hard to take the left one off with his right hand.) He kept his gloves on so that nobody could see the hand. If that's all anyone means by "trolling," then I agree.
Well you can take this for what it's worth, but a few minutes ago Felger claims a source of his told him Brady has a cut on his knuckle that required 4 stitches, he got it when his hand was cut from the buckle of another players helmet.
Again, he said his source is extremely reliable.

Brady is hurt and that is all any of us know. He wasn't going to say anything and neither is anyone else from the team. He is very likely to start on Sunday and an injured Brady is likely far better than a healthy Bortles. If he looks like crap on Sunday, then all of the sky is falling folks will have been proven right. Until then, many of you look like Red Sox fans pre 2004.
