Longtime Patriots defensive lineman Julius Adams, who played for the team from 1971-85/1987, has passed away. Condolences to his family.

Julius Adams was selected to Patriots' 50th Anniversary Team. Played in 206 games w/ Patriots, 3rd all-time behind Tom Brady/Bruce Armstrong

The thing I loved about watching Julius Adams is that he never took a play off

My favorite Patriot growing up. I used to think he was related to the real Patriots, John and Sam. I was a little kid, what do you want. Sad news indeed. RIP and Godspeed.

Really enjoyed watching him play, that late 70's defense was pretty decent and he was a big part of it. He had 5 sacks in 85 at the age of 37. He was very good for a long time. RIP.
