Silverman would fit in well on this board with the misspelling of players' names.
Journeyman minor leaguer, made his major league debut at the age of 30, more known for his bat than his glove, although that's faint praise.
He's the catching version of Daniel Nava.

So either Swihart is going on the DL or we've seen the last of Sandy Leon after today. Keep in mind Hanigan is going out on a rehab assignment tomorrow.
Chalk this up in the funny coincidence category: I was at Fenway on Monday night with friends, one of whom is a big Royals fan. We bumped into LL and chatted with him for a few minutes. Sandy Leon wasn't having the best game and my friend suggested that the Sox pick up Kratz, who had recently been DFA'd. Not that I think there's a link here. It's just kind of funny that it happened so soon afterward.

Suppose Swihart is feeling better by Tuesday -- do the Sox even have to activate Kratz? Or can they just DFA him again?
