Red Sox acquired RHP John Cornely from the Braves for $$$. Has 4.42 ERA as reliever in AAA, will be optioned to Pawtucket.

He was rated a grade C prospect for both 2014 and 2015.  This review was from June 2014:
 
Cornely fits a profile that you've heard me talk a lot about over the course of this series - an old-for-his-level reliever with impressive strikeout numbers coupled with moderate control issues.  The former 15th round pick actually lowered his BB/9 to 4.3 for the 2013 season, giving the Braves hope that he's getting things under control enough to end up being a usable bullpen piece down the road.  He'll be 25 next season and likely heading to Double-A, so the time to prove himself is now.
