One more ring from Tom Terrific which ties him for most ever and probably gets him greatest of all time, and gets the Pats considered to be the greatest dynasty ever.  Then considering a guy of Easley's potential should have never slipped that low to us anyway...  You have to take the ring and smile.

Here
I would take a Superbowl this season in exchange for 5 straight losing seasons. The odds of them competing for championships at this rate after Tom are remote, and I'd trade in Tom's final season and the first few of the successor for one right now.

Just a hypothetical question, but:

If you could be guaranteed one full season of Easley healthy and productive, and the Pats win the Super Bowl, would it trouble you if he never had another healthy year?
Not at all.  There's a balance between short-term and long-term success, but that's a pretty small price to pay for a Super Bowl.

This is an example of a deal that I would not make.  Watching meaningful Pats games is awesome, Im sure they'll suck again at some point but I wouldn't lock that in for a ring this year.

Let's see. BB needs another ring to tie Noll, Brady another to tie Montana.

There is nothing complicated about this.

Yeah, that's a no-brainer.  As a fan, I'd trade the remaining years of any one player (even Brady, honestly) for 1 more Brady/Belichick Super Bowl win.  I'd also do the 5 losing seasons trade, because that's what I'm expecting once Brady and Belichick are both retired anyway.

La Mancha.
He played 36% of defensive snaps in week 1, 43% in week 2.

Has anyone watched Easley closely during the first two games? If so, any thoughts?

I haven't seen the whole game yet on Rewind, but what I did see, I noticed he got penetration on a few plays.  Seems to be quite the athlete.  Raw.
