Marchand is a problem. No idea what’s going on.They play 7 for a reason.
Seemed like the first line was barely out there tonight.

Well played. The Cs thread is jealousThe Bruins have embarassed the city of Boston, the State of Massachusetts, the fans, championship teams of the past, everyone who has worn the black and gold, and orphans everywhere in the world wearing “Boston Bruins 2019 Stanley Cup Champions” t-shirts.
Thanks. At the rate this thread was going, I thought I was going to get yelled at.Well played. The Cs thread is jealous
Bergeron's gonna have a tough time winning faceoffs if Jordan Staal can pretty much put him in a headlock every time out there. They play 7 for a reason.

No, it’s just factually incorrect. It just feels that way because you have to knee-jerk defend their honor any time anyone posts something not wearing rose-colored glasses.Who would my buddy be? You show up to troll when the Bruins are losing and we’re calling you out on it. Is that hitting a little too close to home?
Holy shit I thought you were kidding. You’re not.21-2 so far this year against the Canes. Sweet.
Capping off a pretty awful game on his part. Would like to see a change there as well.Frederic got 2 and 10 for … something
Who’s looking at things with rose colored glasses? I said they weren’t going to score on the power play series. I said if you don’t have to watch. You obviously can’t keep your posters straight. No, it’s just factually incorrect. My main objection is that you’re both full of shit.
I know exactly who you are. People talk about physical play and the Blues series, and the Bruins are blameless, because the refs and the league. You strawman discussions of physicality and toughness as if people are arguing that the Bruins should exhume the corpse of Bob Probert and clone him a bunch of times. I dare mention that the Bruins powerplay—which has been hot dogshit for a month—looks like dogshit, and you have to absolve them because Carolina has a good powerplay.Who’s looking at things with rose colored glasses? That line was a problem for a long time before tonight, and the big problem is there’s just no way you can break up any of the other 3 lines. So it’s either start putting spare parts (after McLaughlin, that is) into the lineup against a top team or just sit and stew.Capping off a pretty awful game on his part. Would like to see a change there as well.
The drop off has been staggering. I know their top D pair is excellent, but he was erased tonight. There were so many rebounds and normally he would have pounced once or twice, but nothing.Marchand is a problem. No idea what’s going on.
Agreed. Without looking, I think some of that probably stems from the Bs pressing in the third, and Carolina capitalizing that evened it off a bit. But, outside of the first 10 minutes and a few flashes here and there after, the Bs got kept outside a lot, relative to their shot total.11 to 11 in scoring chances despite 36 to 25 in shots. Feels right.
It’s also the B’s getting a bunch of shots but from shit spots on the ice. I’m just eyeing it on the ESPN App but the first period chart looks good with shots in tight and gets progressively further outside in the second and third.Agreed. Yeah, I hit post too soon and was editing trying to expand on my agreement with you. We’re aligned. It’s also the B’s getting a bunch of shots but from shit spots on the ice. Look you can fuck off as well buddy. I’m done with this juvenile bull shit.I know exactly who you are. And then you and @cshea make up some bullshit about me coming to troll because the Bruins are losing. Obviously, you’re having trouble keeping reality straight.
So, I mean this quite sincerely, you can both go fuck yourselves with that bullshit.
You made up bullshit about me because we disagreed. That’s the juvenile bullshit. And you should have been done with it five posts ago.Look you can fuck off as well buddy. I’m done with this juvenile bull shit.
Oh get over it dude. I was calling them like I see them. I only see you show up in the game threads when they’re losing. You made up bullshit about me because we disagreed. That’s the juvenile bullshit. And you should have been done with it five posts ago.
Cool story. You’re still full of shit. Glad we got that settled.Oh get over it dude. I was calling them like I see them. I only see you show up in the game threads when they’re losing.
I wouldn’t even know who you were if I didn’t see you constantly on the Covid thread (where I actually agree with most of your points by the way, even though I find the delivery insufferable).
Ok, I’m done feeding the troll for the evening.Cool story. You’re still full of shit. Glad we got that settled.
See, this is why you’re full of shit. You can disagree with me all you want. The notion that I’m posting in bad faith, so I can get a reaction from whoever the fuck you are, because the Bruins lost, is nonsense.Ok, I’m done feeding the troll for the evening.
Oh dude, fuck off. He’s fucking wrong.Holy shit both of you just stop
OK, redirecting here (I hope). Curious about this— what makes you wish Hall had spent his whole career here? (I have my reasons— interested to hear yours).Christ, I wish Hall had spent his whole career here.
Yep, evenly played game, with the caveat being the Bruins continue to struggle converting scoring chances in the playoffs.11 to 11 in scoring chances despite 36 to 25 in shots. Feels right.
I don't think they enjoy it, I just think they don't know how to control their emotions. Literally, like 5 year olds.Everyone freaking out just needs to relax.
But I know how much people enjoy getting their underoos in a bunch
At this particular point, it was a reaction listening to his press conference. Not too high or too low. Good discussion of his post “a couple inches the other way and it doesn’t even hit the post.”OK, redirecting here (I hope). There’s a real chance that, if both Edmonton and Boston could redo things, the Oilers should’ve taken Seguin instead of Hall, with both sides reaping benefits for it.At this particular point, it was a reaction listening to his press conference. More than that, his talent and attributes throughout his career in Boston, while the Bruins had the talent at center they had, really might have been something incredibly special.
Guy’s just got another fucking gear out there. Super fun to watch when he’s on.
This is pretty much the Myt1 experience in a nutshell.I actually agree with most of your points by the way, even though I find the delivery insufferable
I don’t care, this ain’t Around the Horn where you get points for being right and getting the last word.Oh dude, fuck off. He’s fucking wrong.
FairI don't think they enjoy it, I just think they don't know how to control their emotions. Literally, like 5 year olds.
I know because I can relate.
This is a very crazy “what if” scenario. I think you’re right. There’s a real chance that, if both Edmonton and Boston could redo things, the Oilers should’ve taken Seguin instead of Hall, with both sides reaping benefits for it.
Thx both of you. I’ve often wondered this since the draft. Hall seemed like more of a Bs player. And Seguin less so. Maybe I’m wishcasting, but I’ve always enjoyed watching Hall play. Even when I get pissed at him (why the f don’t you just drive to the net?!) I get it. I Would have loved to have seen a Kreji/Hall combo (though thinking about that too much is not healthy)There’s a real chance that, if both Edmonton and Boston could redo things, the Oilers should’ve taken Seguin instead of Hall, with both sides reaping benefits for it.
it makes sense. The B’s always had enough center depth between Krejci and Bergeron but were always short on the wing. The other what if this led me down is if the Bruins trade Krejci instead of Seguin and give Seguin the second line. This is a very crazy “what if” scenario. I think you’re right.
Do the Bruins win in 2010 without Seguin? Obviously we'll never know how much Hall would have contributed, but without Seguin they probably go down 0-2 to Tampa and lose that series. There’s a real chance that, if both Edmonton and Boston could redo things, the Oilers should’ve taken Seguin instead of Hall, with both sides reaping benefits for it.
You may be entirely correct. I was more thinking over the past 10+ years on balance. I wonder if having Hall all this time would have made a difference. . . Fuck it. Let’s get him his Cup this yearDo the Bruins win in 2010 without Seguin?
