Bullshit weaksauce with the elbow armor and complete lack of an attempt to get out of the way. He was over the plate, never moved his legs or torso and practically watched the ball into his safely protected elbow pad. Complete garbage.

Yeah, Altuve and Pena are good, but any run that scores here is the "fruit of the poisonous tree" of the BS lean into the pitch by Maldonado. I do not like the Astros.

I don't really think he leaned into it, at least not the way Diaz did the other day. Also, crowding the plate like that has its drawbacks, as Maldanado wouldn't have been able to hit anything over the inside part of the plate. Wheeler just missed his spot.
