The two rookie WRs look good. Gonzalez looks good. That was of course a totally bogus DPI call. Mac looks fine. The D looks mostly bad and the OL looks an abysmal. Punters and kickers look great.

Optimistic take: there are some promising signs of life on offense, and that combined with the starters getting healthy on the o-line could lead to that side of the ball being...actually good?

Pessimistic take: the defense looked uncharacteristically bad even with a significant portion of their better players on the field, and of course we have little reason to believe the starting oline is going to be healthy for a significant portion of the season nor that they have a great option at RT. And the schedule is brutal.

Season outlook I lean more pessimistic, but I am about a hundred times more optimistic on the long term outlook of the roster than I was a couple weeks ago.

No flag though the Patriots defender Randle seemed to have his right hand clamped on the receiver's forearm.
