Several years ago, I asked for your support for a small town in Nova Scotia and you came forward. Now my home town a village of under 5,000 people has made it to the finals of the Canadian Hockeyville competition. Having survived a group that began as over 400 communities we are now down to the final two and we are still in this. We have so far won $100,000 to help repair our ice plant and replace the boards in the arena. If we win this we get an NHL exhibition game next fall and a Stanley Cup parade.
