Yes I am; Red Sox fan first, Giants fan second, Redbirds fan third.

I'm probably the lone wolf in the wilderness here pulling for St Louis; was there for game four in 2004 courtesy of a customer of mine who is a Cardinals season ticket holder and the fans couldn't have been nicer, very gracious losers and I was impressed by their attitudes.

They get a bum rap too, but seeing is believing.

Besides; sorry, I can't get behind a team with Maddon as the manager, just the sight of him standing on the top step of the dugout is enough to jerk a knot in my ass.

Tough to root for Madden and Coghlan (who took out Pirate & Korean national hero Kang's knee), but man all for Theo to make a run with the Cubbies.

The cradle of the game.
At one point this season, Rodon and both Rondons were on my roster. Hector is by no means automatic, but Maddon screwed with his role so often, it's hard to know what he could have been this year

That must have been somewhat confusing.

I had Hector on my roster, too. A bit inconsistent.

I'm not remembering the reason for all the Madden hate. Is there a baseball reason for it? Most of the criticism seems directed at his appearance.

He's so much smarter than everyone else, just ask him.

@ESPNChiCubs: Maddon gave credit to Manny Ramirez for staying in Jorge Soler's ear, keeping him ready. Along w his work w hitting coaches

Would prefer that guy in our outfield to four years of Porcello, I think.

I agree except I'm not sure that guy is the same guy who briefly roamed Fenway's lawn.

I'd rather have Hanley
His last 3 seasons he has played 86, 128, and 105 games. I understand the appeal of his potential, as witnessed by his April. But I am concerned about his durability and his poor defense. I think Dombrowski unloads him somehow.

I liked the Cespedes trade. The Sox needed pitching. But man, that Porcello contract. Ouch.
