This is vintage bad Lackey. Missing location, yelling at his fielders, staring in at the ump.
Did he yell at Grichuk? I think the resounding crack of the bat on Ishikawa's ball let him know the ball was crushed. Only a Nor'easter type wind today in SF kept it in the park. What I saw, Lackey bent over at the knees like Kershaw did a couple times this postseason. Pitcher's fault. Of course, Pence would have caught it. Well, maybe.

With that wind, defensive mistakes could be critical. Perfect storm for a Lackey start

Game 6 is on Fox, Game 7 would be on FS1.

You could not have designed a schedule to piss off America any better than that.

Mad Dog said they had less than 4 million viewers for Game 2, which tells you not only is the rest of America unable to find the channel but so are a lot of people in the Bay Area and Missouri.

Lackey's unlikely to get another at-bat. So, let's see what happens this time through the lineup ... even if it doesn't have Barry Bonds

That's awful.

The Cards are in real trouble if they can't win a Lackey start.  It's not like they can trust Wainwright at this point.

Blanco and Panik have mostly been a black hole of suck this series.

Blanco is a 4th OF at best.  The Giants not having Pagan is a major blow.

That never gets old! But I am thrilled for Kolten Wong. Been watching him play since high school. Another Hawaii kid!

Going by minor league numbers and his debut this year (after the initial false start and getting sent back down) he looks legit to me. Could be 15HR, 30+ steals level player. If he can push the OBP towards his minor league numbers then he is a stud.

Come on, you don't know the jerk who lives in Hawaii and brags about it, like, all the time?

Big call coming for Bochy here. Hudson at 73 pitches, with the heart of the order coming up for StL next inning

One of our members told us he was good, and a good kid.
That would be me.  He was a beast though out high school, college and the minors.  He's gonna be a star.
