BTW, Hugh Jackson should be somebody's head coach next year. He got shafted when he got the HC shot in Oakland. Guy can coach.

Please get healthy Patriots, rest of the conference isn't beating a mostly healthy Pats team.

The same KC team that barely beat the Browns at Arrowhead?
Yup.

Didn't know that the team with a current nine game winning streak and second in points allowed per game had to win by a certain amount of points each week.

The back of your computer
Pats can finish 1 or 2
Bengals can finish 2 or 3
Broncos can finish 1, 2, 3, 5 or 6
Texans are locked into 4*
Chiefs can finish 3, 5 or 6
Jets can finish 5, 6 or out
Steelers can finish 6 or out

* Yes, I know there is a longshot possibility of the Colts if a 9-game parley is hit.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pats-Miami game flexed into the 4pm slot to be at the same time as Chargers-Broncos.

I think the game has to be flexed per the new last week policy

Hue's issue has never been play calling. He got canned in Oakland for poor roster management.
Perhaps officially. I think the real reason was the new GM. He got canned in Oakland because Reggie McKenzie wanted his own coach. Curious to hear what Gunfighter would think about this subject (not sure he'll see it).

If all of the above teams win, the wild card round would be Jets @ Broncos and Chiefs @ Texans.
Replace Broncos with Bengals and you've got it. Jets have to be most thrilled. Going from Denver to Cincy in WC round is a huge win.

The two are related. Remember that hue was essentially interim gm, too, after Al's death and made the decision to trade a 1st and 2nd for Carson Palmer. Then, when he lost the final game to miss the playoffs, he promised to become more involved in personnel.

Mackenzie, as new GM, may have canned him anyway, but Jackson made it an easier decision.

I don't know. Am I wrong in thinking Cincy is still a better team than denver after tonight? Especially with dalton and eiffert back
They have a much better OL, that's for sure.

I think a big part of the Bengals' potential is the long history of January suckage, though. Can they overcome it this year?

If dalton gets healthy, they have the better QB, too. Regardless of Osweiler's potential future, he is well below a healthy Dalton right now.
