I went to a US wedding on Super Bowl Sunday in 2003, conveniently the only one out of four years not involving the Pats. Even so, I was aghast when we got the invitation, the bride a college friend of my wife’s. It was a Jewish wedding, hence Sunday. Many people spent much of the reception watching the game.
And I’ll bet the bride was annoyed everyone was more interested in the game, right? Shocker!

I was told there will be screens for all to watch

That has been 5 quarters of less than entertaining football.
Go look at the scores of Super Bowls and Conference Championship Games in the 70s and 80s---really through the early 90s---most of them were blowouts.

I remember calling one of my cousins during the Bills 51-3 demolition of the Raiders in the 1990/91 AFC Championship, and he told me, "I flipped over to the (first) Gulf War, since it was closer." (For those too young to remember the first Gulf War, it wasn't close.)

If a shark ate the bear, would the shark get high? Or can coke only be metabolized once? Because cocaine bear sharknado would be cool.

If meth would be more medically accurate, that is ok.

I wonder whether the off-and-on again nature of a game has an effect on Mahomes ankle. In practice he moving constantly. He just sat for the first extended period since the game started.
