Sometimes you can't. Don't know about that one tho.Are running backs ever coached to go down? I figure four defenders on you would be a good time.
Agreed. No mention of it on the telecast. It's close. Auto review, let's see what happens.
It only matters where the ball was, and it was clearly over the goal line and voluntarily brought back. No idea why McCarthy didn't challenge.I think his body was on the line when he first got full control

It's a turnover, so it's automatically reviewed anyway. It only matters where the ball was, and it was clearly over the goal line and voluntarily brought back. No idea why McCarthy didn't challenge.
He can't challenge a change of possession, agreed odd that it wasn't even discussed. It only matters where the ball was, and it was clearly over the goal line and voluntarily brought back. No idea why McCarthy didn't challenge.
Not allowed to challenge. It only matters where the ball was, and it was clearly over the goal line and voluntarily brought back. No idea why McCarthy didn't challenge.
Can't challenfe, it's auto-review.It only matters where the ball was, and it was clearly over the goal line and voluntarily brought back. No idea why McCarthy didn't challenge.
I'm just remembering Develin being so insistent on using two hands last week that he refused to even think about reaching for the end zone from the one inch line.Think his other arm was getting held.
But if a Packers WR 'recovered' the ball it would be spotted at the one yard line. But because the defense recovered it, its considered a touchback? NFL rules are stupid. His body was in the end zone when he recovered it, hence the touchback.
Think of a gunner downing a punt. If they are in the endzone when the down the punt, it is a touchback, regardless of whether the ball crossed the line.
That's just low. This defense has more holes than Swiss cheese
The 49ers had a defense though. This is the lead the Falcons had in the 2nd quarter in the NFCCG four years ago when Kaepernick brought the 49ers back. No problem for Aaron, right?
