Just saw the highlights of the Minnesota loss. 
 
At what point do school Board of Trustees hold their athletic directors responsible for hiring people (in this case an interim HC) who cannot do what a 12 year old that has played Madden a few times knows, which is the basics of how to manage the end of halves and games? 
 
It's one thing when a coaching staff like Seattle's in the SB decides to call plays so they can maximize the number of playcalls and their flexibility to call plays on third and fourth down. You can criticize the hell out of it, but it's not incompetence. 
 
But for a team to be on the goal line with 19 seconds left and a TO and end up only running two plays, of which one was a pass....insane. I wouldn't let the guy report to work the next day. I kill Steve Addazio for this, it makes me think he doesn't know what he's doing, he cost them a game already doing the same thing...why is there no accountability for this? It's negligence to the job...
