Wait a minute -- Haliburton with 15 assists and ZERO turnovers last night? And he's 23 years old? That is some other worldly stuff.

Edit to add: And the Pacers shoot 21% from three against the Bucks, and 48% from three against us? There's gotta be a curse of the Miami Heat or some such starting up here.
He's had a 17/0 game, too. 4 of 18 games with 10+ assists and zero turnovers. His defense, on the other hand...

Yup, and the Bucks were probably allowing better looks.

Even with the turnovers, the Celtics played well enough to blow out Indy by 25, and the shooting variance masked that. In a 7 game series, that would be a footnote in a gentlemen's sweep. In single elimination, well...

Haliburton is leading the league in assists per game (by a healthy margin, 12.1 to 10.6) and has just the 48th most in turnovers per game.

Hali has gone from a 3/1 Asst/TO ratio to 5/1 with a step up in usage.

USG% (26%) + TO% (10%) + ASST% (48%) + eFG% (63.5%).... insanityo_O

SSS & all but if Ty can start launching 2-3 more 3s/game & retain efficiency is he exceeding alpha Curry?

Those Brown for Hali/Barnes fake trades of yesteryear weren't so dumb after all.

I thought the pregame for this was supposed to be a TNT ESPN hybrid? Maybe I misread it.

If they can keep both James & Davis healthy - obviously that's the whole question right there - the Lakers are one more piece away from being a problem.

Lakers should be very concerned that Reaves, AD, and LeBron have played efficiently and they’re only up by 5.

fun game so far.

Last Laker win without a 3 made? November 16, 2003, 99-77 over the Heat, 0-9 from deep. Their last in the playoffs, since that's kind of, sort of what this is? Game 2 of the 2001 West Semis over the Kings, 96-90, when they were 0 for 10 from downtown.

Most attempted, no makes, win, Laker history? 0 for 12, in Game 3 of the Western Semis against Utah, the lone game LA won that series.

Lakers are absolutely clamping down on the Pacers. Every look is a bloody handfight and everything is heavily contested.

Lakers induce the Pacers into two Myles Turner ill-advised takes that result in a five point turnaround before the end of the quarter. That make was huge by Mathurin.

Maybe the NBA just needs like 12 in season tournaments per year and then determine the real playoffs based on the records in those.

If AD played like this all the time he'd miss 70% of games. But when he plays like this, w/ the 2 way play, he's no doubt about it top 5 most impactful guy in the league. fun to watch.

After watching that game I question how the lakers are 14-9. 7-0
In this tournament for what’s worth

But it just comes down to Davis. He was so good both defensively and offensively. But he can’t play with that intensity every night. If he did, he would be done by Christmas.

The Lakers dilemma is they want to monitor Lebron and AD’s minutes and workload to make a deep run, but they also need them playing 35 minutes and carrying the team every night to win.
