Shumpert reminding me of Marcus Smart. Last guy on the team you want shooting, but thinks he can shoot.

Tristan Thompson is on pace to match his horrible Game 1. Only 8 minutes so far. Is something wrong with him?
I don't get what Lue is doing. He looked fine to me when he was in there tonight. Lue just isn't playing him, trying to match GS's smaller lineup, and I'm not sure that's the right answer, at least not this much.

Lebron really is such a warrior---have to admire the guy.

Kyrie is not (though a great player).

Love...somewhere in between.

I agree, I'd play Thompson more. I do think Lue has the problem that he doesn't have the pieces to match up with GS on perimeter, and he's trying to figure out how not to get killed by GS spread and cut stuff.

That my take also, but maybe the coach sees something else

There was talk during the regular season that he was playing hurt and needed rest but he didn't want to do that because he had the leagues longest Ironman streak going (like 400 games or so) and he didn't want to snap it. I think he did eventually take some time off but he could still be under 100 percent.

Iman Shumpert digging through refuse for his shot is more like it, Breen.

Lebron isn't fun to watch only if you're the kind of person who hates rocketships and steamrollers and fun.

Is it Imam Smart or Marcus Shumpert? He really is the same guy. Does a lot of little things on the floor to help the team, but is a black hole on offense, and just doesn't realize it. He's the last guy who should be taking shots, but he always seems to end up with the ball when the shot clock is winding down. He is Marcus.

7 minutes for Tristan. He's been removed as an option and I don't agree with it, the Cavs are giving up way too many ORB.

Why does everyone think if the Cavs lose this one, it's over? They lost the first two games last year by 15 and 33 points, and then won game 3 by 30. They can lose this one, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if they go back to Cleveland and win both.

Lebron with all his FGs made in the paint and an average shot distance of 2.9 feet from the basket. Scary to think what could be if had his jumper going.

Ultimately, just don't see how the Cavs can get the stops needed to win. Need role players and Kyrie + Love to go absolutely ballistic from 3

I don't agree with it either. It's like Lue is afraid they can't keep pace offensively with him on the floor, but I think his defense and rebounding skills make up more of a difference than whatever offense Fry and Jefferson are going to give.

Has Lebron taken a jumper? I think he played a near perfect half. 18 points, 10 assists at halftime is lunacy. That's like scoring 40 when you account for the 3's he assisted on.

I wonder if he's secretly hurt. Because it's hard to understand.

Irving had gotta make passes like that out of the double if they're gonna make any hay with the ball in his hands.

Another great outlet from Love. I adore that part of his game.

See what I did there? I didn't want to use "love" twice in two sentences.

I'm not sure thye should call those kinds of fouls---Curry created the contact with his arms. That's different than the 'defender jumps up, you crash into him' play.

It is a much different GS team. A healthy Curry plus KD is a huge upgrade over last year and makes it much more difficult to win 4 of 5.

He can't get out of his own way. JR looked closer to purposely trying to injure Durant than Zaza did to Kawhi imo.
JR was held on the play but it did look like a Zaza move. Plus he's taking awful shots and committing stupid fouls. JR is worth like -10 points this half.
