For whatever it is worth (very very little), I was on a call with two Dallas colleagues this morning (casual fans) and they were very much in the "at least we won a game" mindset. I doubt Luka and Kyrie feel that way, but hey, you never know.

I did not get to watch G4 live as I was busy cheering my lovely girlfriend graduating from UCLA, but I wanted them to win even if I couldn't watch live.

But, silver linings. Let's get this shit done at home, TONIGHT. 6/17 feels good. Murdalize the Mavs.

The 3’s haven’t been falling all series and a fast start tonight is huge. I’d rather see them come right out attacking the basket than throwing up 3 pointers hoping this is the night they finally get hot.

I want to see wire-to-wire, off-the-charts defensive intensity. Make those fucks work their asses off for shitty looks on every possession. You can rest later. Make getting to 80 points like climbing Mt. Everest for them. Celtic Pride.

Play with full concentration and energy and the Celtics can't lose.

Also, please, let this be the game we have a hot shooting game

So, the celtics last won a championship on June 17 2008, and have a chance to do it again today, 06/17/24, but since then, they’ve lost some legends, including Russell, Havlicek, and Sam Jones, or #6 #17, #24. Also it is game 5 for Walton.

LETS GOOOOOO WIN A TITLE

Yeah, the last 6/17 finals game turned out well, so hoping for a similar result. View attachment 84248
I was there - and I’m heading in now.

I remember my friend was yelling at everyone for chanting 17 at the beginning of the fourth. Then with about 5 minutes left, some guy about 10 rows down from us stood up, turned around, and yelled, “Hey buddy, can we chant now!?” My friend stood on his chair and started the chant. Just an awesome moment.

I was single then. Tonight I bring my family with me. LFG Celtics - let’s make more memories!

So is KP like same status as Game 4? I haven't seen any updated info. Not saying he needs to Keith Foulke this shit but it would be amazing if he could just enter the game for 8 minutes in Q1 and burn the place down and that's it.

Just got out of the shower and put on my lucky Celtics t shirt and my lucky clover boxers. That combination is undefeated. Dallas has no chance tonight.

Here
I think Zinger will play for 3 min end of quarter as a test. If there is any game to try it, it’s this one, and my guess is they will.
