I don’t think City can avoid dropping points. We concede too many goals and someone will 0-0 or 1-1 us on the run in. But in my mind if Arsenal were not mentally ready for this then this was the match they’d have leaked points and given City a cushion. I was playing this morning so I couldn’t watch but getting the full 3 here was a massive result for putting maximum pressure on a City squad that hasn’t really found form all season and is really struggling with availability down the stretch
What a crazy match. The last 15 minutes almost gave me a heart attack. Spurs played with incredible intensity and probably deserved a draw but Arsenal were better in the boxes.

I swear City keep Ederson around just to make things more fair for the rest of the league. He is absolute garbage as a goalkeeper.

If Arsenal fans feel bad they got their hopes up today, wait until City go down a goal or 2 on Matchday 38 then score 3 in 5 minutes to take the title again.
Notwithstanding Nuno giving away goals by playing with injured players literally unable to stand or walk- Forest have fluffed, no joke, four golden opportunities. Even at their best Citty can be played through, Forest have some decent attackers, and the chances have been there - but have been miserably pissed away.

I think we'll look back at today as the best opportunity for City to drop points but unfortunately Chris Wood couldn't finish his dinner.
Going back to playing only once a week will help City a lot and I expect you to take care of business the next couple weekends. Had you played Spurs last weekend, I think you would probably have stumbled, given how dead the City squad looked after 120 minutes against Madrid. But I would bet on a rejuvenated City taking all three points against them in the last week, especially if they are out of the CL fight by then. The players are professionals and will try their hardest but that stadium will be like a library if a Spurs result hands Arsenal the title, it won't be a normal away atmosphere.
They do have four games in 15 days... and Fulham and Tottenham are three days apart, both matches are away. Not sure if any team is up to tying or beating City at the moment, but at least the title race is interesting.
Edit: also not sure that Arsenal won't drop points against United.
Fulham and Spurs away on short rest will be tricky. Fulham haven’t had much for results but they’re playing really good football and would have punished City today where wood didn’t. We are just giving up way too many chances.
I still think you all could and should have put us to bed in the head to head. Playing for the draw there didn’t sit right with me then and you’d be in control now. I think you had more than enough to overturn us even away
As has been said more than a few times.. both Saka and Martinelli were not 100% against City..and it definitely showed with Saka. I think the tactics were because of that rather than as a strategy of choice.
