Arsenal are up 1-0 at 27' and just swarming the Chelsea goal. Petrovic with several saves, including one of his face stopping a wicked deflection that was just being in the right (wrong?) place.
Well you'd think eventually all the shots on goals will lead to something. At the moment that something is 4 goals on 23 shots and not a single SOG for Chelsea.

Now get Saka, Odegaard and Rice some rest for the final 30 minutes.

The stupid is especially astounding because it’s not as if Everton getting 3 points was great for Luton either

After Everton have dominated, Branthwaite sneaks a dribbler that Allison gets 99% of. Calvert Lewin slides and pokes it to the back of the net but it's already over the line. 1-0 Everton at 28', Reds seem tight, Toffees are playing loose and carefree football.

I;m not having a good time watching this Merseyside Derby
I am!

2-0 Toffees now, off a towering DCL header from a perfect McNeil back-post corner. Liverpool have been second best all night and seem disinterested. Goodison is rocking. Toffees are free and easy. Where has this club been all season?

Live table has Everton eight points clear of the drop. See out the three points and safety seems assured.

Got to feel great if you are an Everton fan. Games like this are why you stick with a club through the ups and downs.

California. Duh.
Well, at least I don't have to spend the next month getting my hopes up every time Arsenal or City go down a goal a few minutes into a game.

Crystal Palace reach safety, @candylandriots & @Mr Jums.
I couldn’t watch the game tonight but just saw the score and was going to post the good news…but you beat me to it.

Union Berlin, on the other hand….heartburn city. Massive game against Bochum on May 5.

What other team has massive games against Real Madrid and Bochum in the same season?

I guess the only silver lining is if they go down, *maybe* I’ll be able to get tickets again. It was waaaay easier last season when they were winning though. So who knows….

Hope no Arsenal fans are watching because City were just gifted a FK at the edge of the box and Foden buries it for a 2-0 lead
There was no contact on Foden, deflected heavily too. Ha. De Bruyne set the mood, which is what champions do in these circumstances.

It was a gift but I don't think it matters much. Brighton are in really poor form, hampered by injury, and De Zerbi is too stubborn not to play in a way that is suicidal against a side like City.

Rooting for City to not win the league at season-end is like rooting for the sun not to set on a summer Saturday afternoon.

guys, we missed something major last night: Fulham sporting directory Tony Khan was attacked last night! He went to the NFL draft with a neck brace! Will he show up at Fulham's next match with it still on???
