There's Premier league and FA cup Matches this weekend. Small matter of Man Utd vs Liverpool in the cup.

But there was a huge game last night - Dunfermline Athletic did their fellow Fifers the mighty Raith Rovers, a favour by cuffing Scottish Championship League Leaders Dundee Utd...so if Rovers win their match today (away against Queens Park) they go top. As a Fifer and Kirkcaldy born gent I'd love to see them back inthe SPL.

The Rovers Return is also the name of the pub in Coronation Street. I dunno why i bother.

I know we have a FA Cup thread...so if anyone has a problem with a hybrid thread take it up with Zomp and edit accordingly.

Ellis Simms nets for Coventry from close range. VAR check pending.

They took their time with that, but the goal stands. Fair play to Coventry they've taken the game to Wolves.

VAR clears it after both a handball and an offside check, goal stands, and a well deserved one from Coventry City.

Wolves piling on the pressure now. Aït-Nouri hitting the post.

I'm not a critic of modern hair styles but Matt Doherty's is particularly poor. Unless he's going for the bare knuckle boxer look.

Oof: Coventry might have had a second there.

Wolves score. coventry defender at sixes and sevens, not enough time to think and deal with the ball in the box.

Aït-Nouri is there to shoot home.

What a move by Wolves. Great play by Aït-Nouri; great pass to Bueno, carving open the Coverntry defense, lovely finish too.

Superior quality shining through. Shame. I have a soft spot for Coventry.

Forest take the lead at Luton. It was always gonna be tough for Luton to pick themselves up after blowing a three goal lead last time out.
But this is the kind of match where they have to get all three points if they want to stay in the division.

Luton equalize, there you go. Oh holy VAR, handball in the build up. Still 0-1.

No goals in the Queens Park v Raith Rovers match. Rovers have to get all 3 points to go top. They're way behind Dundee Utd on goal difference. Queens Park are 8th in the division.

Really nice day for Brenden Aaronson today. He had a goal and an assist, and was probably the best player on the pitch today. Another home win for Union Berlin, who have taken 16 of 21 from their 7 home matches under Bielijca. I think that we can reasonably breathe easy on any relegation concerns, with 10 points up on Köln (automatic relegation) and 9 up on Mainz (playoff), with 8 games to go.

Munioz with a brutal whiff that should have put Fulham 1-0 up. Great work by Atonee Robinson to set up what should have been a tap in.

Muniz scores. Spurs going to need another trademark Ange halftime speech to get back in it.

What a let down this game has been for Spurs, especially coming off that 4-0 win over Villa.

Chelsea take the lead, Cucurella with a tap in. Jackson did fine work turning on the burners for five yards to leave his man for dead.

Be nice if Leicester could make a game of this.

Sterling with a weak penalty that gets saved and later screws up an opportunity clear on goal, but keeps creating chances and sets up Palmer for a nicely worked second goal, 2-0 at the half.

Disasi with a pass back to the keeper . . . who was nowhere near the ball, for one of the odder own goals you’ll see.

There should be a claret & blue mini-tournament each season to decide who gets that color combo for a year.

I don't think that's a pen, i think it's just outside the box.

Oh, Leicester down to 10 men.

Edit: Ew the Bridge not happy with Sterling's free kick there.

In what universe do you allow Sterling to be on the service end of any dead ball? Dude couldn’t hit water while standing in the surf at a beach.

Leicester have no out ball...even so i still say punt it up and clear your lines. They're bloody knackered and playing it out from the back is not working. Sometimes you gotta go long.

Chelsea Score...this one's over Leicester are done.

United came out of the gate on the front foot but Liverpool has turned it around and are too much for United now, ETH praying they can get to halftime only down one.

Good grief. Sometimes you just have to hoof it up the park.

Liverpool need to exploit the fact that Bruno's legs have gone.

Edit: I think the footie gods want Utd to win this one.
