a promotion to AAA can’t be far away unless there are strategic reasons to keep him in Portland

I was at this game. Sweet, sweet swing. Don't know who is catching in Worcester, but he'd better be looking over his shoulder.

Fun game. Sea Dogs down early, but scored five in the seventh and three in the eighth, Teel in the middle of both rallies.

Kyle is off to a relatively scorching start to September. 14 hits in 37 at bats, and 12 walks to just 7 K. All this in 49 plate appearances. Two doubles and two dingers in that span. Not sure if Kyle has adjusted to AAA pitching or whether he's on a BABIP fueled heater, but either way, this is really nice to see.

With a 2 for 4 last night, Teel is at 16 hits in 41 AB, and 12 walks, for 53 PA, in September. I suck at using a calculator, but I think this results in a slash line for September of: 0.390/0.528/0.585 for an OPS of 1.113. Zero Sac flies, so a BABIP of 0.428 if I used this abacus correctly.

An awesome poster taught me that Bref will do the math for you if you go to Game Logs & click your requested range.

Lol yeah, I realized that immediately after posting. Definitely going to add that wRC+ to my sample size stuff.

(TEEL has 197 in September for those not clicking through).
