You miss the point. The A's an an awful team, so all their players must be awful as well. The Sox can't be beaten by awful players, so it's their own fault they're behind.

Bello's strikeouts weren't against consecutive batters. He recorded 10/11 outs in a row on strikeouts, but other plays were mixed in

Absolutely not. Even if he stays healthy, he’s still just a closer, and isn’t necessarily more effective than other top closers even though he throws harder than anyone. Even if you can think he might have a prime like Aroldis, it’s not worth what Anthony could be
