Sears pitched a great game. I'd take that start for the Sox if he was available to them.
You miss the point. The A's an an awful team, so all their players must be awful as well. The Sox can't be beaten by awful players, so it's their own fault they're behind.

Absolutely not. Even if he stays healthy, he’s still just a closer, and isn’t necessarily more effective than other top closers even though he throws harder than anyone. Even if you can think he might have a prime like Aroldis, it’s not worth what Anthony could be

They need to start playing better at home. A lot better. 9-8 since June 1. 21-24 overall. You can really go back to the start of 2023 with this being an issue.
