Oh yeah. ThanksNm. KP wasn’t in the game at the time and couldn’t jump.
It sure looked like to me it was designed to have Tatum jump it with KP taking off immediately on tossNm. KP wasn’t in the game at the time and couldn’t jump.
Zarba likes the airtimeRefs reversed 3 times tonight. Don’t see that often.
Hell of a back-to-back. Two gutty wins.Got it done again.
They still had some bad possessions down the stretch, but being able to sprinkle in a KP post up here and there at least replaces another dreadful iso or the FULL MARCUS 3, which we've had the past 3 years. It's been enough this year, more often than not. This team is MUCH better at closing than last few years
Defense in that final minute was elite. They can flip the switch when they need to and that’s really all I’m taking away from these January games. This team is MUCH better at closing than last few years
DW having more than a little DJ in him also helpsThey still had some bad possessions down the stretch, but being able to sprinkle in a KP post up here and there at least replaces another dreadful iso or the FULL MARCUS 3, which we've had the past 3 years. It really can’t be overstated how much better it is not having Marcus out there in these situations to ALWAYS be the guy who ends up open. They still had some bad possessions down the stretch, but being able to sprinkle in a KP post up here and there at least replaces another dreadful iso or the FULL MARCUS 3 lotto. It's been enough, more often than not.
Theyre potent, but dont play D and wont get 15 mins from the celtics 4th string C in the playoffs. They could shoot t their way to win or 2, but Cs in 5 or 6.Pacers play with daggers for us. I could do without seeing them in May.
Yeah, I think Celtics are a pretty good matchup. But I think the Sixers and Bucks would have real problems with these guys.Theyre potent, but dont play D and wont get 15 mins from the celtics 4th string C in the playoffs. They could shoot t their way to win or 2, but Cs in 5 or 6.
Why on earth would you speak this into the world?Don’t look now but the Celtics are starting to run away and hide with the 1 seed. 4.5 up on Milwaukee and 6+ on everyone else. Given where our schedule and Milwaukee’s schedule is headed could be all but wrapped up pretty soon.
Could do without seeing the Knicks or the Cavs, too.Pacers play with daggers for us. I could do without seeing them in May.
The East is just stacked. Hopefully they beat each other up.Could do without seeing the Knicks or the Cavs, too.
I disagree. Compared to the other potential opponents, I think the Pacers would be a good matchup for the CeltsPacers play with daggers for us. I could do without seeing them in May.
The Pacers are a really fun young team. When Haliburton is fully healthy they are going to be a tough out.Pacers play with daggers for us. I could do without seeing them in May.
I wouldn't be shocked if they end up a surprise ECF team if they avoid the Celtics in the first two rounds. I agree that a healthy Celtics team probably beats them in 5 or 6. I do wonder how their high speed push the pace transition offense is going to hold up in the playoffs when everything slows down.Theyre potent, but dont play D and wont get 15 mins from the celtics 4th string C in the playoffs. They could shoot t their way to win or 2, but Cs in 5 or 6.
Only on a 63 win pace. Losers.Terrible win.
They failed to execute perfectly and as any serious sports fans know, any victories are always marred by mistakes and bad decisions.
Just think back to any random team win you have seen and then let all the bad stuff that happened en route to victory come flowing back to taint the good stuff.
This win is a D minus at best and should only count for 1/2 game in the standings.
Beautiful impersonation of Negative Man of the Doom Patrol, sir.Terrible win.

There’s the aspect of them wearing us out in a 5-6 game track meet even if we win.I disagree. Compared to the other potential opponents, I think the Pacers would be a good matchup for the Celts
And we got crushed on second-chance points, 32-6. It was making me insane during the game, but you don’t survive all these differentials if you don’t have the talent this team does.Out-rebounded 50-40, out-assisted 33-25, took 21 FEWER SHOTS, and still won the game. It helps going 17-36 from 3.
Okay, so is the Pritch record "consecutive games with a 3 off the bench"? I keep hearing that stat about consecutive games and thinking, "do Tatum and Brown not have a 3 every single game?" Maybe they don't.
Since they're referencing Eddie House, I think that's indeed off the bench.Okay, so is the Pritch record "consecutive games with a 3 off the bench"? I keep hearing that stat about consecutive games and thinking, "do Tatum and Brown not have a 3 every single game?" Maybe they don't.
Had to look this up. Romie is shooting 53.8% from 3P but only on 26 attempts.Romeo leading the G league in 3 point percentage.
It’s amazing that he played 107 minutes including two starts in a playoff series for the Celtics just a few years ago. Of course JB was injured and Boston got bounced in a gentleman’s sweep and Jabari Parker got a fair amount of play in that series as well so…Romeo leading the G league in 3 point percentage.
I'd think some shots would go in that wouldn't provide offensive rebound opportunities. 32-6 second chances, 20+ extra shots, etc might not have turned out quite the same way.If Haliburton played the whole game do we think it ends as well?
Really hard to say. Nembhard was doing a pretty good impersonation of him and Cs were struggling to keep Siakam out of his post-ups, so I'm not sure Haliburton could have increased the scoring that much, and I thought the Pacers D was better without him.If Haliburton played the whole game do we think it ends as well?
Nesmith certainly has a bug up his ass about the Celtics, but this is just how the rest play against good teams. Against the 5 teams ahead of them in the east, Indy is a really solid 11-5 (2-3 against Boston, 2-0 against Cleveland, 4-1 against Milwaukee, 1-0 against NY and 2-1 against Philly). They get up to play when the opponent is good. The Pacers are trying so hard to have a rivalry with the Celtics, but the Celtics don't seem very interested in it.
Pacers missed McConnell too. He tormented the C's with his energy and quickness in the previous meeting. If Haliburton played the whole game do we think it ends as well?
