To be fair, the whistle did go well before puck entered the net. Have to assume the referee lost sight of it.
The Germans have a great word for this ("Fremdschämen") which they use quite often, even more than "Schadenfreude."
And it's pretty apt for this game watching experience.
They just need to trade Khokhlachev. It's clear that Claude and Don have no real use for him.
It's not like they've looked slow and lost offensively. What could he possibly bring to the game?

Wow, the Miller-Morrow pair has been terrible. About what you'd expect.
By the way, Miller walked away from Gallagher all alone in front of the net. But Colin Miller needed the wake-up call in Providence.
If you only watch them play the Candiens, you'd think they're the worst team in the league. They've been pretty good against everyone else.
For as bad as they've played, the Habs are absolutely begging the Bruins to get back into this game.
Was it too much to ask to just get a competitive game? Wife is already asking to leave and im having a hard time defending sticking around. Im at a party not the game
Most goals are scored on bang-bang shots. Every moment you wait gives the goalie another chance to recover.

Game is far from over. If they can score on the rest of this PP a whole new game will develop.
They could spend the entire 3rd period on the power play and I'm not sure they could score 3.
