I've been trying to be better with tracking stuff that I own and have begun to pile it into Google finance - mostly because it allows me to track cost basis.  Stuff like Mint is great at telling my how I'm doing but from a bigger picture thing I'd rather just see "hey I made $100 this month!".

With that said, the page itself is pretty horrible. Does anyone know of any 3rd party apps (inc iPhone and Android) that could show me my google portfolio (i found lots that do) but also show me cost basis (most dont).

I don't mind buying it

I would actually love this as well. I've been in Google Finance and navigating the shitty page for a couple years now. If anyone has better systems, I'd love to hear about them.

Try using yahoo finance.  You can input everything by creating a portfolio on line. It will then transfer data to the app. I have it on my Moto X, it can be a little buggy, but generally gets the job done throughout the day.
