Game 7 - Bruins @ Canucks - Protect the Civic

I love it-- NBC showing every Boston parade from the last 40 years. That being said, more hockey to play, but this is a good start!

The only thing I'll say is in general, I think it favors the Bruins if the refs keep the whistles in their pockets.

I think they took the little ball out of the whistles so when they blow nothing happens.

A little skittish in the first 5-10 minutes, D-men were having a lot of trouble making clean passes out of the zone. Thomas was rock solid. Bruins were more in control for the 2nd half of the period. Canucks are pinching like crazy in the offensive end so there will be opportunities for the B's when they figure it out.

Many thanks. I noticed two Vancouver forecheckers on a puck that wasn't that deep that almost set up an odd man rush for the Bruins in the one minute I saw. If that's how Vancouver's playing, then you're right, there will be plenty of chances.
