Was just about to type this same thing. This officiating is fucking shamefulWhite doesn't get the Trae Young Call.
Or outrebound them when they do get a missThey can't guard the Hawks
‘07 Baron Davis Warriors 8 seed upsetting the 1 seed Mavs is my vote but it’s a conversation that we luckily won’t have to have.If the Hawks win this series, is it the biggest upset in NBA history?
Yeah, this is the big issue....the defense just isn't there. It's not all Young being hot, and not all fast-breaks...they have not shown any real ability to get stops. On pace to give up around 140 points

Can the Hawks maintain this pace against the Celtics’ depth?Yeah, this is the big issue....the defense just isn't there. It's not all Young being hot, and not all fast-breaks...they have not shown any real ability to get stops.
Sure the Celtics walk it up on OCan the Hawks maintain this pace against the Celtics’ depth?
Not if the C's push the pace consistently all game. Can the Hawks maintain this pace against the Celtics’ depth?
He's totally off tonight. There was a play last game where someone mentioned he was gimpy; worried that is what is going on. His rebounding is ok but he isn't protecting rim well.TL is liability. Just getting torched on the perimeter and unrecognizable as a rim protector, plus on O they set the screen so high he isn't much of a threat for a lob
Offensively, he's been offensive.Watching Al Horford this series just makes me sad. He’s stunk

Ah, yes…Not if the C's push the pace consistently all game.
If they slow it down, allowing the Hawks to get some rest in the halfcourt, then yes.
It's the midrange he's been awful---they are consistently having his man (often Trae) take him for an open jumper on switchesOffensively, he's been offensive.
Defensively, he's actually been ok, at least in rim protection. He's got 11 blocks and 5 steals in the series thus far.
How is it that every team in the league for years has been able to hunt the one guy on our defense relentlessly, in the playoffs, when it's a bad matchup (Kemba, IT4, Kyrie, now Al against Trae, etc). He's totally off tonight. Horford also looks slow all series; Young is quick and Hawks have hutned that, but Al is looking slow against a lot of their quicker guys. his game is no longer punishing smaller guys at other end either---Celtics don't have anyone to do that vs smaller/quicker guys Hawks are playing
We just had an 8-seed beat a 1-seed literally yesterday. If the Hawks win this series, is it the biggest upset in NBA history?
If he's not hitting his 3s at 40%+, he's a backup. He's still solid defensively, but he's now totally incapable of creating for himself or others, and his rebounding is as ok as ever.Watching Al Horford this series just makes me sad. He’s stunk
Ha, right? Brad should be the most prepared person in the league to take advantage of this. How is it that every team in the league for years has been able to hunt the one guy on our defense relentlessly, in the playoffs, when it's a bad matchup (Kemba, IT4, Kyrie, now Al against Trae, etc).
But we can't figure out how to get like a single possession with Trae covering anyone?
