Not to cause drama - but if the plan was to not play Ullmark in the playoffs, not trading him at the deadline was mistake.
Wasn't that not up to them? Like, didn't have have a trade in place and he vetoed it?

He has a partial NMC, we don't know if there were any decent offers for him (among the non-partial NMC teams), he is/was insurance in case Swayman gets/got hurt, and we don't know that that was the plan.

I’ll never forget the feeling of heading into the Garden last year, up 3-1 as the 1 seed, certain the series was ending that night; then leaving, tail between legs, 3+ hours later. Make them feel that pain.

Let me complain in peace that Monty hasn’t played him when it has obviously made sense to play him (game 3 or 4).
They would have lost game 4 by way more than 3-2 if he'd started game 4

So they're glorifying that dirty prick Bennett to open the broadcast? Fuck this. Destroy these assholes.
Agree....just shocked that nobody will really call either play for what it really was....A dirty play on the hit that took Marchand out and then the horribly blown GI call last game and the even more egregious totally lame explanation/justification from NHL about the call. Even NFl and NBA will at least usually acknowledge when they missed calls but NHL just doubles down on their absurdity and borderline corruption

When you see the Maroon no goal in January with the Wild... (I put it in the Round 2 thread) it's absurd that goal was allowed to stand

Looked like a horseshit penalty. But will defer to those who follow the sport.
