Another 8 or 9 months before we have to hear about how the awesome, mystical leadership of Coach K is the difference between Duke and everyone else in college hoops.
I enjoyed the 3 pointer at the end there. It reminds me of an article Simmons wrote like 7 years ago about "the drive", where I think it was Michael Vick drove down and scored a TD to cut the deficit to 28 in the last ten seconds.

Maybe I've only watched his bad games but I've never really seen it with Hood. His length is good (as an NBA 2-guard) and obviously by the percentages he has been a good shooter, but he'll need to be a great one at the next level since he doesn't seem to do much else. I could be off as I haven't watched every Duke game or anything, but I wouldn't go near him in the top 10.
What the hell happened to Parker? He gets subbed with the game on the line. Man, I know he's a Freshman, but I'm interested if the C's would take him so high.
