If by money you cap space, it is discussed upthread, but probably no. However they have a ton of assets to make another trade if they want to including salary match, the problem is there is nobody really available until likely the deadline. However it also allows a S&T for one of the FA next year if needed.ivanvamp said:

I assume that Love requiring a Rondo extension is more or less code for "I'm not starting from scratch no matter how many picks you have or how good your plan sounds." At least I hope so, because the Rondo negotiation figures to be unpleasant and overpaying him isn't worth it on top of everything it will take just to get Love here for one season.
I would pay Rondo to get Love here in a heartbeat. If that's the cost of business, so be it. Besides, having a motivated Rondo that wants to prove he's the top dog and show he deserves to be paid like one isn't the worst thing in the world. Hell, if you get Pierce here on the vet minimum/retirement plan maybe he can help convince him this is his time to be the best in the league - period. After all, Pierce had some growing up to do, too.
